PROFILE
Born in 1979 in Hokkaido, a monk of the Komyoji Temple in Kemiya-cho, Tokyo. Currently an Associate Professor at Musashino University. He graduated with his B.A. degree in Literature from The University of Tokyo.
A monk, a managing director of Japan Fellowship of Buddhists (Japanese: OTERANOMIRAI).
In 2010, He completed MBA from The Indian School of Business as an Ambassadorial Scholar of the Rotary Foundation.
In 2012, he started a project of “Mirai no Jushoku-Juku” . Since then, a total of more than 600 young monks who do not belong to any specific sect but represents all the sects have deepened their learning under the spirit of “cherishing Japan from the temple”.
In 2013, he was nominated as a member of the Young Global Leaders 2013 from World Economic Forum in Davos. He has published literature such as “A Monk’s Guide to a Clean House and Mind” (Discover 21) and others.
