PROFILE
Toshihito Kumagai is born in 1978 in Kobe, Hyogo. Who then went on to join NTT Communications Corporation, shortly after graduating from the School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University in 2001.
He served as a member of the Chiba City Council for two years starting in May 2007, and In June 2009, was elected to run as a candidate to become the mayor of Chiba. At that time, he was the youngest mayor of the country (31 years old), In ordinance-designated cities, he was the youngest mayor of the town.
This is his third term now. Living together with his family; daughter, son, wife and himself. His hobbies are climbing, poetry, and history.
